Bill's formal training was in electronics engineering - a field he abandoned after he accidentally discovered the "law of detachment" during a certain "spiritual awakening" experience. This led to an intense, 30-year study of human potential development. He is the author of The Relaxation Principle, Getting Centered, The Zen of Sobriety, How To Lose Weight Using The Law of Detachment, and over a hundred articles. Bill is a single, former Bostonian, living in Naples, Florida, where he blogs on realizing one's potential via the law of detachment.
