Gloria Fuller was born in Uganda and orphaned at age eight. Adopted shares the story of Gloria's next years as she raises her little brother Gordon amidst many challenges. At age eleven she and Gordon are adopted and move to the United States. Gloria also transparently shares the process of healing after her adoption. The uniqueness of this story is receiving the narrative from a child's perspective. Gloria started her book at age twelve and completed it at age fourteen.
