This book is designed to help travelers find their way around the historical sites in Bastogne. The book concentrates on Easy Company, 506th PIR, 101st Airborne Division. The book also includes background information about the unit and key figures during the Battle of Bastogne.
Author Biography
Robert Allen has spent over 30 years traveling Europe researching the areas that are known as "The Western Front" in World War I and World War II. He created 10 military history tours for the USO and continues to research areas for new tours. He has written 2 books about WWII and is working on a third. He also recently completed filming a pilot episode for a new history series called "Into the Fray with Martin King." He has a minor in Military History and is a member of the Alpha Epsilon Chi Chapter of the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society with the University of Maryland University College.
