There are beasts and imaginary friends that are best left undisturbed unless you are ready to play with them and take over the city.

When a voice shouts "No," to an ordinary girl, one ordinary afternoon, things happen that wouldn't happen to just anyone. And if the spirit of contradiction gets out of control, beasts with interesting shapes emerge from every corner, and the girl who was once hopelessly bored becomes the leader of a disastrous gang that only tenderness and understanding can quell.
