He specialises in operations, quantitative techniques, and computer systems. He holds B.E. (Mech.), M.E., and Ph.D. degrees in industrial engineering from Anna University and has guided 13 doctoral students in management. Dr Panneerselvam has published more than 100 research articles in leading national and international journals, along with 21 textbooks.
