Once upon a time there were two brown birds named Peanut and Walnut. The forest was filled with all kinds of birds-brown birds, blue jays, crows, woodpeckers, and cardinals. People always stopped to look at the cardinals. Peanut wondered why no one stopped to admire him. He was so tired of being small and ordinary! He wanted to fit in and be popular. So one day he decided to paint himself red like the cardinals. And it worked! The cardinals all became his friends invited him to a fun party they were having. But on the way, it began to rain and wash away the color...
