Golf is a simple game. All you have to do is scrape the grass under the ball, to the target, with the clubhead face facing the target. This book is about swinging the front arm (nearest the target as a pendulum. This is a natural move. Most golf teaching stress body manipulations in the hope the club will come into the ball and scrape the grass under the ball to the target with the face of the club facing the target. This does not always work. This book is about the laws of the pendulum and how to gain control of your game with long and straight shots.
Author Biography
Dr. Gerald A. Walford earned his Ph.D. from the University of Maryland. He has written many books on sport sciences, skill learning and teaching. His doctoral studies was on psychology and sociology for the understanding of humor. Walford has coached university hockey and golf. He is a member of the Professional Golfers Association of America (PGA).
