Shawne Mitchell, M.A., has a gift for aligning people's lives and lifestyle with their soul's true calling, a skill honed by her years of studying consciousness, spiritual psychology, transcendental leadership, home psychology, and feng shui, and the world's wisdom traditions. Shawne holds a master's degree in Consciousness Studies from the University of Philosophical Research and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Washington. She received her feng shui training in the classic tradition of the Black Hat Sect of Tantric Buddhism and has been a practitioner of Transcendental Meditation for over thirty-five years. Her deep wisdom, combined with her travels and experiences, has evolved into an international consulting practice, which includes spiritual life coaching, sacred space design, conscious business and leadership workshops, speaking engagements, teaching, and books. Shawne has taught and led workshops at conferences throughout the world. Shawne's published books include Exploring Feng Shui: Ancient Secrets and Modern Insight for Love, Joy and Abundance (New Page Books, 2002), Simple Feng Shui, Ancient Principles to Bring Love, Joy & Prosperity into Your Life (Random House), and Home Sanctuaries: Creating Sacred Spaces, Altars, and Shrines with Feng Shui (Soul Style Press). Shawne is the former Home Sanctuary Editor for Healing Retreats and Spas magazine, for which she contributed regular feature articles and the column "Ask Shawne."
