The editors (Rana and Putcha are engineers) and the managing editor (Sloboda is an economist) have experiences using empirical models to analyze various topics. This research monograph looks at the interacting factors between physical health and mental health to assess its impact on the long-quality life. Chandra Putcha's research interests include reliability, risk analysis, and optimization while Brian Sloboda's research interests include regional economics/entrepreneurship/transportation, economic impact analysis, and labor economics. Siddharth Rana's research interests include applications of civil engineering to real world transportation problems.
