For Brooke Bognanni, the process of writing becomes spiritual, a meditation for which the purpose varies; often it is about the natural cycle of the things of this earth, and about saying good-bye. The book, in turn, becomes a marker of epiphanal self-discovery.
Author Biography
Brooke Bognanni is a graduate of Friends School, Loyola College, and Loyola Graduate School and holds BAs in writing and psychology and an MA in writing. She teaches creative writing and speech and is an assistant professor of English at the Community College of Baltimore County. She splits her time between Baltimore and Maryland's Eastern Shore.
