They grew up visiting the local library every weekend, and always adored picture books and other children's media. Amy studied illustration at the Pacific Northwest College of Art. They make soft, colorful, digital illustrations that have a collage-like aesthetic with plenty of patterns and textures. They frequently pull inspiration from vintage art and fairy tales, and are drawn to stories with LGBTQIA+ themes and positive messages about mental health.
