There is no doubt that proverbs are useful guideposts based on a multitude of experiences and observations that are part of everyday life in the family, the workplace, business and any form of human exchange including the academia. As a student's guide to astuteness in school, Proverbs for Students appropriates apposite proverbs from the Bible to direct the discerning student on his way to academic success. Every student charts his own academic destiny. It is therefore time to look for the enemy within, not the enemy outside. For according to Pogo, we have met the enemy, and he is us.
