"Slava" actually means honor, glory and fame. But it is also the name of one of the most important family celebrations of Saints in the Greek Orthodox church, where the family celebrates its own guardian angel. Luka is growing up in a traditional Serbian family, where Slava has survived from generation to generation, and where families gather on Slava. At one time, Lukas parents travel to Denmark to seek their fortune there, and Luka must follow.
