The Series: The Re-Awakening
The Re-Awakening Series is a hybrid (fiction/ non-fiction) two book series. This series is intended to help remedy America's growing estrangement from God and her resulting now steep decline in both the spiritual and secular dimensions. Many, today, are basing their hopes for an American recovery in the next election or some new political policy or tactic. But the depth of America's decline has now taken us long past such simplistic possibilities.
Many have also arrogantly decided to subtract, altogether, the metaphysical (or spiritual) from that recovery equation. But, in fact, at this advanced stage of decline, there is no recovery to be had without a divine intervention. And, that intervention will require us to frankly face and address America's spiritual failings - on a national, as well as an individual basis. And, this series makes that necessity, and the true means to answer it, crystal clear.
The Book: Spiritual Dynamics
Spiritual Dynamics is the non-fiction book in The Re-Awakening Series. Given the seriousness of the subject matter, if you read Spiritual Dynamics, you will probably be surprised by the tenor of its approach. It is not written in a heavy theological brogue. Nor does it read like a doctoral thesis. And, it does not employ an oppressive, "thou shalt" type of overtone.
Rather, this book is very purposely written in a more everyday language and a fairly light voice, so as to facilitate an easy flow of information. And, regarding that information, Spiritual Dynamics is a truly fresh step forward in the explanation of the means by which the Living Christ is absolutely able to empower an encompassing newness of heart and life - in the here-and-now. This book is a real eye-opener regarding God's graceful and ingenious rescue plan. And, it has a tremendous capacity to enlarge both the reader's understanding and devotion.
