Follow the intricate case of female detective, Quinn Isaacs, Lead Detective, in the small mountain town in East Tennessee when she deals with one of the worst nightmares a police officer can face-an officer involved shooting. Personal motivations on the part of someone trying to elude a police officer can lead to weapons fire, death, and disruption of multiple lives. Quinn was more than prepared to assist her fellow officer, but like anyone else faced with a deadly outcome she would question herself again, and again, and again. Flashbacks to the shooting she experienced in high school added to the already stressful events. Figuring out the victims, their motivations, and ultimately who was behind all of the crime would take teamwork the Round City Police had rarely seen. The small mountain community was reminded once again that they live in a place where people take care of each other-except when they don't.
