The Magic of the Avelinos is the author's most recent book, which includes poems of the Avelinos' Annual Feast with its dancing and celebration (held in San Jeronimo de Tunan); as well as poems from the Mantaro Valley, Huancayo, Peru, its customs, foods, and archeological sites.
Siluk's next book on Peru, out in 2007, La Casa de Azul (The House of Blue) is about the cultures of Peru, in poetic form, appearing from the mist of mystery, and vanish in the mist of oblivion.
Author Biography
This is Dennis Siluk?s 34th book and his 10th book in poetry, and his 4th book on Peruvianism. He lives in Minnesota and Peru with his wife, Rosa. He has a worldwide audience, and has traveled extensively throughout the world, and is the winner of two International Magazine Columnist Awards
