Author Biography
Prof. Gary Wheeler leads an active performance driven life, working both sides of the camera. As a 30-year member of SAG-AFTRA, Gary lists principal acting credits in feature films, network television, national commercials and corporate training videos. He is also a founding member of the Actors Company Theatre, where he's played roles such as Don Quixote in Man of La Mancha and Henry II in The Lion in Winter. Many of the monologues in this book originated during A.C.T.'s successful series of Working Actor classes. Gary also shoots photography and videography for national corporate and commercial clients. As an adjunct professor, Gary teaches Speech for Anne Arundel Community College, plus Film and American Culture, Understanding Movies and Photojournalism for University of Maryland University College, Gary holds an M.A. from Towson University.
