Author Biography
Sonja Olsen (Kinard) was born on St. Simons Island, Ga. and raised on Gascoigne Bluff. She and her sister, Thora, published an oral history of Glynn County, Ga. entitled "Memories from the Marshes of Glynn: World War II." She graduated from Lenoir Rhyne College (University). She has two children and four grandchildren.
