Whitey Comes Home for Christmas is based on a true story. Whitey, who lives in the New England area of the United States, is a Great Pyrenees dog. He often goes for walks in the local parks with his humans and his many dog friends but on this particular day, he catches sight of a deer. The story begins here and covers Whitey's adventures while his owners are searching for him with the help of the community. The happy ending is followed by some photographs of Whitey and his owners.
