Sometimes in life, when things happen to us, we have no understanding of their purpose. All I know is that life is a journey. I am a fifty-six-year-old woman, and I have had my share of ups and downs-more things in this life than I would have ever anticipated. We endure many trials and tribulations, but know that we must experience the test in order to have a testimony. I am writing this book with scriptures, praying that I can encourage someone who may not have an idea about how to overcome a test in life, or whether they may even make it through. I want you to know that if God brought me through it, He'll do the same for you! Hebrews 13:8 tells us that Jesus Christ is the same God yesterday and today and forever. God has a purpose for our lives, yet some take a little longer than others to figure out what it is. But know that God is still with you. Catherine Floyd-Foskey was born in North Carolina and raised in New York by both of her parents. She's a minister, an entrepreneur, and an educator. She has two grown children and a grandson.
